Owning up to Black Errors. If we are to reject racism, then when Blacks err, they need to own up to their errors and not hide behind “They are attacking me for being black.”

This present article is a reaction of mine to an article I read in Breitbart.com

• Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Blames ‘Right-Wing Extremists’ for City’s Problems

My reaction to this article in Breitbart is that Mayor Brandon is like many Democrats, and many blacks among them. Their problem is that they want too much. They are against racism. I, too, am against racism, but let’s not limit the racism problem to racism against blacks, as that is the only racism there is. I grew up in South Carolina, and I lived and went to school with many blacks. Blacks are some of the most racist people in the world. For example, they call each other the n—– word all the time with abandon.

But this is the point, they “can be racist against blacks” but people who are not blacks cannot utter nor think of any slur, slander, or racist comment or somebody will express violence against them. That is unequal, and at its bottom, it is racism.

Mayor Brandon’s Complaint

The article is a typical article of the problems of Chicago. Chicago has a lot of problems. These problems go back a long ways maybe even being very strong in the days of Al Capone. But all of these problems are not just because of the blacks. These problems have their roots in the famous corruption of that city over the years. Notably, the city has been in the hands of Democrat politicians, and they have done nothing to fix the problems, only to perpetuate them.

Johnson sees the culprit of all of Chicago’s problems as the “right wing extremists”. Okay, then to fix the problems that Johnson is addressing, let’s get rid of all the right wing politicians in Chicago. Oh, wait a minute, the Democrats have held control of Chicago for many a year. Their “solution” has been applied year after year, and the problem just got worse.

The mayor even said that such “right-wing extremists” aim to create “division and chaos because that is what that particular political party has been about.”

Well, how about that! Isn’t that a perfect description of what the DEMOCRAT PARTY has been doing for years now? You cannot project what you are doing onto the opposition political party without everybody checking what both parties are actually doing. The result is this makes Mayor Johnson look like a hypocrite. He is a cry-baby that got into the Mayor’s office “to fix the problems of Chicago”, and being all wise supposedly, now he cannot do it, and he is looking for a scapegoat to blame instead of accepting the blame on his own incompetence.

Using the Race Card

“It is abysmal and it is an affront to everything that is good about this country for the extremism in this country to use people as political tools to settle political scores for something that happened over 400 years ago. They’re still mad that a black man is free in this country,” he added.

This is an extreme problem with Mayor Johnson. He cannot just excuse everything he is incapable of doing because “400 years ago” there were some black men who were slaves. 400 years ago there were also white people as slaves. Does that excuse any white man that cannot perform because his political mindset is in gross error, working against the reality of how things work?

He never links or explains WHY RIGHT WING EXTREMISM is causing him his problems. He never defines and explains how this is happening. So to just lash out at what he sees as his opposition is totally unfair, in fact, that in itself is racism against Republicans.

Attacking the Religion of his Opponents

“The real disconnect is that you have an unclean spirit that has captured the right-wing extremists in this country. And I call on them to dig deeper and lean on their faith. As Jesus said, who our neighbors really are: the one on the roadside. Those are our neighbors,” Johnson said.

I do not know Johnson´s religious beliefs, but I do know that a number of Republicans align themselves as Christians. Using the Bible and Jesus to throw blame and criticism on his opponents does not make any sense at all. We (Republicans) are to accept sanctuary cities because Jesus taught that? Let’s have that discussion but using the Bible.

In the passage that he refers to (seems he knows the Bible in his own way, but not books of the Bible, chapters, verses, nor direct quotes)…

Luke 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Luke 10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luke 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
Luke 10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

Luke 10:35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
Luke 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
Luke 10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Firstly, what we see in this passage is compassion on the robbed, the beaten, the downtrodden. What we do not see in the passage is that the Good Samaritan, who was a businessman apparently, on a journey with money to spend, did not give this foreigner neither his business nor his house. He paid for his stay in a hotel until he could continue on his journey.

Secondly, the comparison falls down completely when we see people migrating against the laws of countries for economic gain. This is not what was happening with the Good Samaritan, nor is that the point that Jesus was making.

If you listen to Johnson a good Christian should help illegal immigrants. But although that is obviously what he wants people to believe and accept, it does not follow from the situation and the Bible.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Romans 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Romans 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Romans 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

So the illegal immigrants are “illegal” because of what reason? Simply, they try to get into a country legally and are turned down. So the illegal immigrants are disobeying the “higher powers” that Paul commands us to be subject to them. To help them commit a crime of illegally entering a country (any country) and staying there illegally, and to work when they neither have permission to be in that country, and they do not have permission to work in that country is helping a criminal in a criminal activity. That is a sin for anybody who supports illegal immigrants.

Just because “society” now says not to call them “illegal immigrants”, that does not remove that truth about them under the law. People in a country without some kind of legal entry are illegal aliens. So we have this discussion, and Brandon Johnson comes out of it totally condemned for his policies.

Just a Thought

Maybe Mayor Johnson’s problems for his city are coming from God punishing him and his city because they do not abide by Romans 13:1-5? Just a thought. That would be more rational of an explanation that what Johnson gave.

Barak Obama

To “cinch” the fact that everybody who doesn’t bow before Mayor Johnson is a racist, he uses what the Republicans said about Barak Obama as “proof” of their racism.

“It is the same party that wouldn’t accept that President Obama was actually an American. It’s the same Republican right-wing extremism that stormed the capital, it’s the same right-wing extremism that refuses to accept the results of the civil war. It’s raggedy. It’s disrespectful. It’s mean-spirited,” he said.

But wait a minute, again we need to go to the law. The laws of the United States, the Constitution principally, demand as a requirement that a person entering the office of President of the United States be a natural-born citizen of the United States. Therefore, the burden of proof was on Obama to prove that he was a U.S. citizen. Did he do that? No. Was he challenged on the issue so that he forcibly would do that before entering the office? Yes, the Republicans asked for him to provide undoubtable proof that he was “born in the United States”. Did Obama do that? No. The Democrats again took the Mayor Johnson route of twisting things around.

To muck up things, Obama declared he was born in Kenya when he entered a school in Pakistan. Did he explain that or renounce that? No. So to question Obama’s requirements for President is not racism against a black man, but simply a white man obeying the laws of the land. When a Democrat can use a law of the land to his advantage, he does so. When it works against him, he ignores and denounces the laws of the land, calling everybody wanting him to submit these laws as “racist”. How cute. But we need to call out Mayor Johnson for his actions and words.

Blacks need to Own up to their Errors

As a Republican myself, I denounce what Richard Nixon did in Watergate. There is an “owning up to wrong doing” and a renouncing and rejecting from doing that anymore. But if Republicans have to do that to be honest, why don’t Democrats also have to do it? Why don’t blacks, like Mayor Johnson, have to admit that their policies and administration is a failure and change? Why do people in Chicago continue to vote for people who as a class are one failure after another, and nothing gets better, everything gets worse, and they are totally in control of Chicago?

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Wants to Open City-Owned Grocery Stores – The idea that to solve crime, you need to get rid of privately owned stores and use government owned stores (with the idea that the store will be heavily guarded by police) is an idea only a Democrat could come up with. Why not use police in the first place in the privately owned stores, and support the police to do their job?

On the one hand, I agree that Christians should try to evangelize (present the plan of salvation from the Bible) to people of the entire world. I am a missionary in Mexico downing just that. But on the other hand, I do not think that we should give our daily bread to them, give them our jobs, our houses, our businesses, just because. That is not in the Bible, nor is it logical. It is not logical for Democrats to give up what they have to these people either. The reason why Democrats are supporting the sanctuary city concept is to get to them to vote in American elections for the Democrats. That is horrible.
