Nobody is Above the Law
If Democrats are insistent that nobody is above the law, and everybody has to obey the law and all the laws, then they cannot try to convince us that is their true position if they don’t accept the enforcement of that law. When people are legally proven to have broken the law, they must suffer the punishment. There are no heart beating stories that work here. Just because a murderer has a small child, justice does not concede him immunity. For a foreigner in our country (as in any similar situation, an American in a foreign country, for example), they have to obey the laws or suffer the punishment. This is no different in Mexico than in the United States.
Newsome and Democrats Use Illegals
Gavin Newsome needs to do some reflection then (unless he well knows this and is just crooked). Because he cannot pretend he obeys the law if his party directly carters to illegals, “serving them.” Can you imagine giving all kinds of free things to a murderer roaming free in your land? Worse, when a public servant takes tax dollars of the people to do so! Immigration law (and by that, extends to immigration enforcement of those laws) is the law of our country. When he took his oath of office, he swore to uphold the laws of our country.
The Sanctuary Movement is Illegal
The entire sanctuary city/state movement is contrary to the law. So by default they are liars and disloyal to their oath, to America. If immigration law is wrong and unjust, then change it through Congress, and until that happens, enforce it as it is written. The Democrats know that most Americans do not want open borders, nor do they want foreigners in our country who disrespect the law. Racism is a thing, and some people just hate people that are different. But what we are dealing with is not racism, but obedience to the laws of our land. Society is built upon everybody submitting to the laws we have over us. That is our foundation, and without that foundation, the economic benefits we enjoy will disappear in a lawless society (or a corrupt society that uses lawfare tactics like so many banana republics).
The Law is the Foundation of our Society
Moreover, our stability as a country, as a society, depends on everyone obeying the law. It is ludicrous for people coming to our country, because their home country is a wreck of lawlessness and crime, and they change America to be just like what they left. It is galling to see flags of countries that the rioters “gave up and abandoned” being waved in these LA riots. If they are so brave and driven to riot for their causes, why didn’t they do the same thing back in their home countries? Tiananmen Square. That is why. They know they will be persecuted.
True Americans are Committed to Our Country and System
While many see no difference between foreigners and true Americans, this is the key difference. In the history of our country, there are many, many examples of Americans dying for our country, to make it what it is. Our servicemen die keeping it free today. Foreigners who want the benefit of America but don’t want all the responsibility that comes with those benefits are just thieves. They should be deported and denied any benefit at all. In the naturalization process, new citizens are exhorted to fulfil whatever is necessary to keep America what it is supposed to be. They have to swear that they will even accept going to war to defend America. Illegal aliens want the benefit without the responsibility.
Why the Outrage?
It is totally illogical and unreasonable to think, we should have a law against stealing, and there be no bite in that law. That bite is that something bad will happen to the person who breaks the law. When there is no enforcement, or a “milk-toast” enforcement, i.e. there are police that
Open Borders, i.e. No Immigration Law
If nobody is above the law, then why are immigrants illegally entering our country and “given a free pass” to everything? The Democrats had welcome kits for those crossing the border informing them of how to enroll in Government assistance aid. The Congress, both Republicans and Democrats, have made laws that forbid aliens of any type from getting government assistance. It is against the law. So why “champion” nobody is above the law and then do exactly the opposite when you want to do so? Why the outrage over immigration enforcement?
