Let the Government do Its Job examines the simple premise, let government do its job. The Congress makes the laws and the executive branch enforces those laws. When that is stopped, frustrated or opposed, we descend into lawlessness.

What is Lawlessness?

Lawlessness in the Bible means a disregard for the law.

1 Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers…

God has ordained that governments exist as well as laws within countries. To oppose the government or the laws of a country is to oppose God. The reason for that is because God places these laws and the apparatus for their enforcement in order to bring peace and deter injustice, crime.  In a sense, God ordains human authority and holds said authorities accountable to God himself. To rebel against a human authority is also to rebel against the God that ordained that authority.

What people bring upon themselves because they rebel against authority is their own fault.

Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

So to be clear, God has ordained the government and the laws of the land. Sometimes those laws are unjust and need to be changed. But within government, within that country’s system, there are proper ways to do so. Maybe changes are wanted by some individuals which are not pleasing to God, but government will answer for what they do. But within the United States system, we change bad laws and make new laws on the basis of the Congress. The executive branch has the obligation to fulfill the laws Congress makes. If a particular law is unjust, the Supreme Court has to weigh into the matter and declare it unjust. Then Congress has to change that law to bring it into line with the Constitution and the law system.

To abort all that for a change by force, force major, is rebellion, insurrection. Remember the Democrats screaming about January 6? It was an insurrection because people had a peaceful march in Washington. But the Democrats declared without any doubt that it was an insurrection.

To ignore the laws of the land in order to do what a person particular wants is lawlessness. We are entering into lawlessness in America.

The (il)Logic of Rebellion against ICE

Very simply put, the President has no choice. He has to fulfill the laws given to him in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the laws made by Congress. The executive branch does this by various groups, one being ICE Immigration enforcement. Immigration enforces the immigration laws given to us by our Constitution, the Congress, etc. If Trump took the practice of Joe Biden and Barack Obama, ignoring the immigration laws on the books, then he would not do his job as president of the United States. Obama and Biden both failed miserably at enforcing immigration law. They made their own laws without the participation of Congress. This is how we got into this mess in the first place.

President Trump is simply doing the job of President as the founding fathers envisioned it. You may dislike how Trump is doing this, you may dislike what words he says while doing it, but that he is doing it, we cannot fault Trump nor his executive branch for doing their job.

It is very problematic to see protesters obstructing what Immigration is doing to enforce the law. Actually, they are not doing everything they should be doing. They have prioritized first removing those illegals with outstanding arrest warrants. Murderers, rapists, child molesters, violent criminals, drug dealers, etc. Every illegal should be deported. But Biden and Obama have allowed millions into the country. That will take time and the worse should be removed first.

So why are Democrats opposing the federal government agents from doing their job? Are the Democrats not the ones who saturated the air waves with the logo, “Nobody is above the law.” When it was useful to them (they oppose Trump because he isn’t a Democrat and has a different view and practice of things than they have), they used that slogan to attack Trump. Trump is also an American citizen and due process was not allowed Trump in those cases.

But now when things have changed and the “shoe is on the other foot”, they ignore what they claimed America had to concede to them because it was right, “Nobody is above the law.”

Okay. That is right. Nobody IS above the law. So illegal aliens need to be processed and deported. But that doesn’t fit their plans, so now it is wrong. When ICE deports illegal aliens, the Democrats cry, “Not in Minnesota. Get out of our state!” Why? If a foreign country invaded some state of the United States, would they not be crying foul if Trump said he would not do his duty to protect that state? So they want a selective (by them) enforcement of the laws, and an ignoring of the laws of our land when they think it is best for them.

In one video I saw today (Saturday January 24, 2026), I saw about 50 law enforcement officers (ICE and maybe other federal officers) standing off from protestors. Law enforcement officers were armed. It is totally stupid to go up against armed law enforcement officers doing their duty. Whatever happens to the protesters, they deserve what they get. I saw no law enforcement officer abusing a protester, but they did defend themselves, and they did their job. How can you blame them for doing their job? Perhaps you do not like what they are particularly doing, but the government will employ somebody to do that job because Congress has passed these immigration laws, and ICE enforces the laws given to them.

Justice is fair no matter if you turn it around apply the same standards and norms to one or another group.

When Joe Biden employed 10,000 IRS agents (demanding that they are armed), did Republicans stand in front of them doing their jobs? Republicans did not like what Biden did, but as President, there wasn’t any insurrection. Now we see wholesale insurrection. Who is being unjust? The protesters. The Democrat party.

Consequences of Democrat Insurrection Practices

Some years back I remember reading about the situation of Sharia (Muslim) law in England. In the time of fasting by Muslims, a non-Muslim man was in a Muslim neighborhood and he was eating a hot dog. The people killed him on the street in front of security cameras. English law did nothing about that murder even though it was seen on video very clearly, with the killer clearly identified (a nearby merchant).

So to understand this, Muslims enter a law, a foreign non-Muslim country, and they establish their own laws (Sharia), and they don’t have to obey the laws of the country they are living in. In effect, they have stolen that area of England from England, and now it is another colony of the Muslim state world. That is essentially what is happening in America.

Immigration has to be Assuming the Laws and Principles of the Host Country

When a country allows foreigners to immigrate, there are assumptions. Legal immigration requires that the alien learn English, and swear to uphold the laws of our country. The culture and religion of our country is also respected. In the case of America, we have no state religion, but our culture is based on a Judea-Christian foundation as far as legal principles and justice. You cannot torture your children or wife just because you had a bad day. In Muslim countries that is allowed. But a Muslim who comes to America must respect American law and principles.

Another legal point is that all foreigners who immigrate to the United States absolute have to pay their fair taxes as well as not commit crimes. In the world of immigration, lawbreakers are not allowed citizenship nor any kind of legal stance in our country. As with any American who breaks the law, that American will lose their freedom, with be confined in a prison or jail, and if they get violent in their lawbreaking, the law enforcement personnel are not to risk their own lives (nor allow innocent people standing by to possibly be hurt or killed) but the law enforcement personnel are to use deadly force to cause the lawbreaker to cease and desist.

Note that the use of deadly force is allowed and even more so, it is demanded when the lawbreaker will not obey the instructions of law enforcement. That is our law. If you don’t like it get Congress to change it or leave the country.

Obstructing Law Enforcement is a Crime

What is happening in Minnesota is simply the protesters are committing crimes by impeding, frustrating, and causing law enforcement to not do their legally obligated duty. There is no room for marching or protesting if you invade the law enforcement’s space so that they cannot do their job. In the cases we have seen in January 2026 where protestors lost their lives, the people ICE is rounding up are murderers, rapists, drug lords and gang members, etc. The protesters are wanting freedom for these people to do more crimes to the population of the United States. But this is not up for their “permission”. They have no authority to permit that. Congress has to intervene to change the laws. In calm discussion in Congress, there is no argument for allowing criminals to do crimes. That is not defensible.

If these illegals were Republicans, then the Democrats would insist on instant capital punishment on the spot. That is not what ICE is doing though. ICE is following the procedures indicated to them by the Congress, and protesters are intervening. It is sad when somebody dies, but in each of these cases, the protester could have avoided deadly force if they would have only complied with the instruction of law enforcement.

The Sad Truth of What is Going On

Democrat politicians are losing their political control. The majority of American citizens are frustrated with their governance and are now turning to support the Republicans. Democrats don’t know what to do, so they are pushing the ignorant and gullible among their followers to be sacrificial lambs. This is very sad because the Democrat politicians are only agitators, and they are not paying the price for this insurrection (jail and death). So they are using their people for their own ends.

Hopefully more and more Democrat supporters will wake up to this reality, and stop supporting the evil ways of the Democrat agitators. They will leave the Democrat party altogether.

Seeking the Blessing of God

The truth of the matter is that God will give people what they want. But people do not realize that what they are wanting (God out of their lives) is a very bad thing. All true blessing comes on from God and is with God, so being in the presence of God (walking in His will) is the only way a person can receive true blessings.

When Minnesotans demand that criminal Somalian illegal aliens are free among them, what will happen? Fraud is already seen. For every dollar stolen by those receiving government funding for day cares and special care centers for children with autism, some child needing that money doesn’t get it. They are really stealing money and help from the innocent and the children with autism. Who does that hurt? Those who need legitimate help and are not receiving it. All that because we allow fraud. God is judge of everybody. He will judge these people who do evil, and they will receive retribution for the evil that they have done.

But when good citizens do not do what they have a duty to do, we too will enter into that judgment. It is totally right and just to stop fraud. It is our government, and we should demand that ICE enforce the immigration law. Instead of trying to criminalize law enforcement doing their job, we should reward them for the danger that they endure in order to fulfill their dutiful obligation as Immigration officials.
