The point is to blame Trump, political warfare, not fixing anything!

Our economy is pulling people into our country, and foreign economies are pushing people into the United States. For example, Mexico receives about 4 billion dollars in remittances EVERY MONTH from Mexicans in the United States.

Remittances to Mexico in April still totaled a staggering $4.76 billion, but that is down $380 million from the previous month’s $5.14 billion.

Throughout 2024, Mexico received $64.7 billion in overseas remittances, most of it from the United States (specifically Texas and California). So the Mexican government notices this very acutely. Mexicans in the United States working (most but not all are illegals) are sending $64 billions of dollars back home every month. But consider something. Mexico doesn’t want this to stop, but rather to increase or maintain the same.
In Mexico, nobody can deposit more than about $500 into a bank account without the Mexican T.S.R. coming in. This law is to stop drug traffickers from depositing illicit gains into banks. So the Mexican government is getting a fee from all the remittances that come into the country, besides those Mexicans receiving that the rest of that money.

Also, Mexico has a VAT tax on everything, just about. That is like a sales tax. So they do not tax individuals so much like the US where workers have to file taxes. That is rare in Mexico. The government supports itself from VAT taxes. When the money comes into the country (through any kind of financial institution), the government gets that T.S.R. tax. Then, when the people spend the money that their family has sent them from the states, the government gets the VAT tax.

So why doesn’t Mexico stop their citizens from entering illegally into the US? Because it is a cash cow for them.

The riots in Los Angeles are another way of attacking President Trump doing the job he is supposed to be doing, enforcing the laws of the land.
