It appears the investigation into Ilhan Omar’s naturalization situation is that she stated her birth year was 1981, and when her father was supposedly naturalized, she would have been 18, so she would have needed her own separate naturalization process. So her staff “adjusted” the Minneapolis records to a birth year of 1981. Wikipedia is also involved because it has the original date, as do the Minneapolis government, the US Congress records, etc. So the search warrant was probably to look for documents about this. According to this article, even her now-deceased father’s naturalization is being questioned.

The problem that we see in all of this is the simple fact that the Democratic Party regularly uses the saying against Trump, “Nobody is above the law”. But that is fine to say when you are attacking somebody else who is your political opponent, but it becomes a grave problem if you yourself do not have your own house in order before you start.

Is “Nobody above the Law” really our Standard?

If it is not, it should be. The United States is a country of laws, and our laws are to be obeyed, and when applying our laws, it becomes difficult for some people to conform their lives to those laws. Just because Ilhan Omar has won a congressional seat (as well as Donald Trump winning the presidency) is no excuse for them not to follow the law explicitly. We cannot “fudge” on the law with anyone. The bottom line is that this is not adherence to our laws, but legal warfare using a particular person’s interpretation of the law and manipulation of the law to hurt their political opponents.

Is Donald Trump using Legal Warfare?

The short answer is probably yes. The long and complicated answer is that what his DOJ is doing is obeying the law. It has to be done whether it is embarrassing or not. If Trump’s DOJ refused to do its due diligence in investigating Ilhan Omar’s problem, her possible lying about her naturalization, then it would be like ignoring what Richard Nixon did. No Democrat would approve of ignoring Richard Nixon’s improprieties. So justice is when the sword of justice cuts both ways, and you have to apply justice and the law to your own people. So the Democrats have no option if they do not want to look like hypocrites. They should pressure Ilhan Omar to step down from Congress, fix her naturalization problems, and probably leave the country and re-enter after she has it fixed. I am sure that the State Department is filled with Democrats who would help her.

Which Political Party Defends and Executes the Law?

When we come to this question, we need to examine the facts, the people who make up each party. When we see Democrats like Nancy Pelosi on the banking committee in Congress and trading stocks, beating the best of Wall Street, we wonder why the law doesn’t fall on her because of her apparent insider trading. Why wasn’t Bill Clinton prosecuted for his crimes, as well as Hillary Clinton’s “pay-to-play” as Secretary of State? How come the Biden family received a 1.5 billion dollar “loan” from China that they didn’t have to pay back? Isn’t that the same as a bribe? When accusations are flying, we need to say that all of these accusations, as well as accusations about Donald Trump, need to be investigated fairly for everybody.

But people who are breaking the laws of our land have to be stopped, investigated, fined, and maybe jailed.

Aren’t Illegal Aliens breaking our laws?

We have immigration laws that are on the books. Why are we ignoring those laws, those procedures, the restrictions on processes, etc.? You cannot just ignore our laws. That is the essence of “Nobody is above the law”. Just as I have to obey the law, so does everybody else. The American people need to wake up and just refuse to accept politicians who work on the basis that they and their constituency are above the laws, yet they can accuse, prosecute, and oppose their enemies using that same law that they refuse to accept as being over them.

The Democratic Party is notorious for illegal aliens, and the concept of sanctuary cities and states came from their defense of illegal aliens. Americans need to stop putting Democrats in office until the Democratic Party comes around to fulfill their saying, Nobody is above the law.

Immigration

If these immigration laws are laws on the books, then there should not be vacillation in executing these laws nor outright opposition to them. The police in every state, city, and federal officers should uphold and cooperate with official immigration officers in honoring immigration retainers. When a politician or federal, state, or city worker refuses to cooperate with other officials in fulfilling their official duties, that person who ignores, hinders, or outright opposes a federal officer doing their duties should be arrested and removed from their office or job.

But until such time, she should not be in Congress.
