This is why our politicians have to have examplary personal lives. The concept is blameless. When their personal lives are “shady” then they are easy targets for blackmail. When they have a spouse, a single committed romantic envolvement that they do not go outside of that relationship, then the probability of black on the front is very low.

If you can see the possibility of the same for every major and minor member of Congress, you see the problem. The only solution is personal moral integrity.
There is only one solution for this problem. The voters have to demand more integrity in the people they elect to office. This means that they must attack strongly any breeches of morality. For an entire party to “be for prostitutes, homosexuals, and transsexuals” should immediately cause a normal person problems. If a thief wants free reign from judicial authories, he will promote a politician that lends himself to that. So it is important to be clear here.
God gives a nation the leaders that they deserve.
When it is common for politicians to be drunkards and whore mongers, it is because the people are not any better than that. That is why we are in such a mess as a nation.
