The DEI Angle
The entire propaganda plot of the Democrat party of fracturing America using victimhood, and then working the masses in a frenzy on supposed injustices has produced the DEI problem. The essence of this movement is that people should advance in life not on the basis of merit, their own ability and effort, but on some perceived injustice done to them. In the case of blacks, slavery, even though no black person in America has lived in America as a slave. If they don’t like America, ask the US government for a plane ticket back to Africa.
But what we have seen in America suffering from the DEI syndrome is a dichotomy in life, people who are not capable doing jobs that pay great, but require a lot of preparation and personal effort, then qualification, then expertise in their field. A doctor can go through all of this, and be a practicing medical doctor, but even so, life for doctors is that if they mess up, they have to pay a heavy cost personally. Under DEI, they neither enter through merit nor are we to require that they comply with quality norms, and when they mess up, we are to continue to give them break after break, and increase their financial gains even though they give horrible quality in their service.
The Democrat problem is that their ideas just don’t work. If Kamala is a DEI candidate, and she fails at winning the presidency, doesn’t her being an example of DEI prove it is flawed? Yes it does! If they dump her for somebody else, especially like Gavin Newson, a white man, then they are racist. If they stick with her, they will lose again. Heaven forbid the financial state of the Democrat party if they have to foot the bill for a 4-year candidacy with Kamala. She will bankrupt the party? If they dump her, that is tacitly admitting that being a black person and a woman does not make her capable of winning? They lose either way. I would predict that she will run and posture herself to run, but the Democrats will come to their senses and bribe her with something to step aside somewhere along the process.
Read this article by this mad megadonor to the Democrat party. His argument is 1000% right, but this basically presents the same problem. If Kamala was their candidate and will be again in 2028, and she is not capable of winning much less governing, then DEI is dead on arrival. If she is not, then they are wasting a lot of money on a dead horse. They don’t win either way. They want somebody who will win, and is following the Democrat party line, but if that Democrat party line is the fault that causes their candidates to lose, then when will they change their party platform? That is the question. After another presidential loss? How many loses can they suffer as a party and still retain voters? Each time, they are showing that they are out of touch with the voters, with the real situation in the country, and they are totally wrong on their ideas to fix things.
Joe Biden lost the 2020 election, but they cheated to get him in any way. Okay, pay back time has come. Their party line is what is losing here, and short of a military takeover to instate Kamala Harris anyway even though she lost, they will not resolve their problems with America until they change a lot of things in their party’s thinking. Accusing one another when they all are to blame doesn’t fix things for them. It just shows how conflicted and divisive they are as a party. When will voters take the hint and vote them all out? Division doesn’t work, nor does unjustified accusations, i.e. Trump is Hitler.
