The Problem with Nobody is Above the Law examines Democrat strategy of maryrdom in the name of Congressional oversight obligations.

Overview

Why would anybody think that there is a problem with obeying the law? Shouldn’t everybody obey the laws of the land? Moreover, isn’t it strange when people do not obey the laws of the land where they live, that the police and judicial powers that be in that land, representing the body that makes those laws (Congress and the President to enforce those laws) are somehow “out of line” if they enforce the law, and those who disobey those laws fall under that force causes them discomfort or hardship?

The great problem with this meme or saying is not with the law, but with a very important point. Those who use this point in attacking somebody else (a political opponent) have to understand that they themselves have to be circumspect, i.e. obey meticulously the law themselves. This is because while breaking the law is a criminal offense, hypocrisy is also greatly faulted, especially in public figures.

In the political environment, no politician has a valid say in the affairs of the nation if they themselves are criminals, lawbreakers. By breaking the very laws that they presume to make, they make themselves disqualified from any discussion of anything. They are shamed.

Note that politicians in office are lawmakers, therefore they MUST uphold the laws of the land. When they are installed in their office, they are “sworn in”, where they make a public oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land. They have no choice which laws they will obey. ALL the law has to be upheld, or none of what they do counts. They should be expelled from political office and scorned from any public hearing.

The New Democrat Strategy

Since the Democrats lost 2024 big time, and while they put out propaganda before the election that the 2024 election was going to be a wash-out for the Democrats, that Trump didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning, they were surprised greatly that American voters voted for another 4 years of Donald Trump. There is a serious problem with the Democrat strategy making. This starts with putting out spins on everything, and faking polling results. Hillary Clinton should have been a wake-up example of this to them, but they continue with believing their own hype. There is a good reason why serious political candidates don’t trust public polling, and that is because it is a very inaccurate measure of what the public actually believes and how they will vote.

But the Democrats are reeling from their loses, and instead of serious introspection and moving their entire party towards what the majority of Americans believe and want, they continue to follow their own egotistical wills, trying to force America to be and do what they want, without regard to what is best for America.

In this search for a new strategy to use to regain and continue their power, they are turning to open defiance of the law. Here their own words come back to plague their present day brand. If they were so “law-abiding” against Donald Trump (which the test of his innocence or guilt is after those cases have run through the courts), hell-bent on putting him out of commission, then why are they encouraging lawlessness now?

The Los Angeles Riots, and No King Marches

Under the America system of government, we highly value free speech. By free speech, we mean that everybody has the right to express their ideas, even if those ideas are flawed and logically incorrect, factually incorrect. But the key to understanding free speech is simply letting the free flow of ideas take care of the illogical and non-factual positions that people have. We do not restrict them from speaking their opinion, such as in North Korea, China, Russia, in Muslim states, etc. We simply let the very forum of free speech confront and destroy or defend any position.

Democrats cannot stand up to honest debate. That has been apparent for about 100 years now. So they use force, they use arguments where they “jury-rig” the “logic” or the “facts” so that the outcome is what they have decided ahead of time. Climate change has not been given an honest examination. When scientists that receive government grants totaling in the billions of dollars through their organizations are asked, “do you agree with our (the Democrat politicians’) position,” of course they are going to agree, because they do not want to lose their funding.

But what about the large number of scientists that are not encumbered by that grant problem that denounce man-made climate change as ridiculous? Their opinion counts, except when Democrats are arguing against their scientific opinions. I continue to be amused at their predictions of global ice melting and the global rising sea level, where they predicted that by the year 2000 or so, that the sea level would miles inland from our coasts. Yet, the docks built on the sea level never have to be raised any higher. What your own eyes see often contradict the best opinions of professionals! They don’t have a command of the facts. When the Antarctic sea ice grows some years, their theories are just wrong completely.

Democrat Martyrs for the Cause of Democracy

We have seen a number of Democrat lawmakers this year start implementing their new strategy.

The Democratic outrage and public denouncing of ICE, Immigration, President Donald Trump, and the Republicans in general is predicted.

But we need to look past the headlines and meditate and take apart what is happening. Firstly, their major point is that they do not want immigration to do it duty. Why? The major political party that uses the saying “nobody is above the law” wants the law enforcement agencies to stop doing what their Constitutional obligation is. Why? Isn’t that exactly what being above the law is about?

We do not get to choose which laws of the land we want to obey. We have to obey all of them. There is an apparatus for changing the laws, making new laws, or erasing old bad laws. It is called Congress.

Moreover, no Immigration nor Policeman has made those laws of the land that they are enforcing. They are on the side of the faithful execution of the laws that Congress hands them. They only vote as normal citizens. Why are they being attacked? Why are they being frustrated and opposed, often by just marchers, who get in the way of them doing their jobs? Should there be “a law” against people doing that? There is. And these people who break the law, hindering and attacking police and immigration doing their jobs are being arrested as they should be. Where is the Democrat Party, the party that championed “nobody is above the law” just a few years ago, in supporting law enforcement? They are silent. They not only are in silence in support for our law enforcement agencies, they are openly defying their work. This is seen by Democrat politicians showing up at ICE facilities for “a Congressional review”. That is their job, but when a member of Congress does such an inspection, they plan it, advise the proper authorities and ask for a time and place to do such inspections.

An ICE deportation detention facility is basically a jail. Nobody, even those in government, can think that they can just “show up” and all the doors are going to be open. These people come with unidentified people accompanying them, their staff, the Press, their own security people with weapons, etc. No serious facility that detains people who want to escape will let such a clown show in their doors. It would undermine the security of the inmates, and also of the guards. That is how a prison riot starts, and usually these end in tragedy for the people in the prison. Whether these politicians think they are doing some great work and are martyrs for the cause or not, the people who have the responsibility for the security of those in their facilities have the final say over visitors, and the conditions. Moreover, is it necessary for a congressman to do their “oversight” duties with a show? Why are the Press there? That stinks of making the visit a spin.

Any detention facility that would allow such a clown show in their facility is seriously not doing their job. How about that for a start on oversight? Not that they don’t let people inspect their facilities, but that any such inspections have to be decent and in order, such that they do not disrupt their normal activities or put people at risk.

The Hypocrisy of Disruption in the Name of Keeping the Law

But this issue really reveals the real problem that Democrats just don’t understand our own country, nor what the laws are. This is a serious flaw because they are the ones charged with publically “making those laws.” When they consider themselves as being “above the law”, then they are just simple dictators, elites that can break the laws at will, yet at the same time use the law as a club to oppose their political opponents, and never see their own hypocrisy in doing so. What a shame. What is worse is that the American public continues to vote these people back into office and fresh people just the same.

If you want to say that “nobody is above the law” is important, then you must first live that principle in your own life and actions. To try to force your way into an immigration detention facility is just wrong. There are proper channels to do the same thing, set as “the law.” Congress approves of these channels, and really, they do not officially advise their members to not use those establish procedures. So why are they doing so?

New Democrat Strategy: Political Theatre

What their strategy is political theatre. They are politicians. They live or die by their accomplishments. But that is not really true. They live or die by what their supporters believe is their accomplishments, so they want to make a big splash for their causes, whether they actually do anything for those causes or not. The problem is that these causes are popular with some (like illegal immigrants) but not necessarily beneficial to all the people of America. In fact, many Americans are waking up to the fact that they are bent towards law-breakers, and not helpful for those who uphold and abide by the law. The various cases of American citizens who were killed by drunk illegal aliens are cases in point of this. Whatever your position was on immigration and open borders, when your loved one dies needlessly, you are going to change your position. When your plight is ignored by politicians not enforcing the laws that they really made, and then they give an all out helpful effort for the lawbreakers to stay out of jail and stay in our country, then those in mourning take up arms to fight.

Narcissism is their Foundational Problem

The real problem with the Democrats (and many Republicans) is that they are narcissists. They are only focused on themselves, and they use “their deep concerns for other mistreated, unrepresented people” as a ruse for them to get economic gain and political power.

A narcissist is a person so in love with himself that he thinks the world also adorns him (how can they not?), and he uses people to push himself and fulfill his own dreams and glory. You cannot effectively deal with a narcissist because (1) if you do not promote his narcissistic ideas about himself, he will ignore you, or (2) if he does engage with you somehow, it is because he thinks he can use you and that engagement for self gain. There is no other options. You have severe any relations with these people and totally ignore them.

Heaven help a nation that fills their government with narcissistic people.
