Be a man, act manly is a reasoned argument from Scripture (the Bible) on why men should act manly. Men here excludes transgender women who transgender to be men. They are not men, and never will be.

First a Clarification
What this post is about is the biblical concept that God made men to be men. Acting like a man, like God has made (those of us who were born male) us men. This is not being macho or abusive towards women, children or others. That machoism is simply sin. It is taking the affirmative side of being a man too far, or really not too far, but into abusive sinful actions and attitudes that are wrong in themselves, just as wrong as a man being feminine.
God only Made two Sexes, Male and Female
Genesis 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
This simple declaration of the Bible that God made male and female, and he made no more genders than this, is one of our starting points. If you study Satan’s deception of Eve, he uses straight out calling God a liar as one of his tactics. What God has said, Satan says the opposite.
There is a “thing” about being a man, and another about being a woman. The things involved here are important.
God made man in his own Image
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 9:6.
Humans are made in the image of God. But note that man was made in the image of God from the dust of the earth. Woman was made from the rib of Adan, so she is part of her man.
What does being made in the image of God entail?
Firstly, it involves having a soul, a spirit, a will. Being a created being and not the Creator, it entails being responsible and giving account to your Creator one day.
Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
